Saturday Morning Recap
July 9 – 15, 2017
Things I’m reading
Much like Weird in a World That’s Not, I was asked to do read and review The Art of Fear. Read it once and plan to read it again. Without saying too much (my review is set to be released this upcoming Thursday), it’s a very interesting perspective on fear from a former extreme skier.
What I’m watching
Tim Ferris on Super Learning and Pushing the Limits/Impact Theory.
I’m a big fan of anyone who is constantly challenging themselves in the most extreme ways. Tim Ferris is world renown for exactly this. Having recently released his Tools of Titans book (which has a ridiculously compelling title) he appeared and was interviewed by Tom Bilyeau and dropped info-bomb after info-bomb.
Well worth you checking out.
Things that are keeping me busy
- My son
- My wife
- Real Estate
- My dogs
- This website
- My upcoming Podcast
- Peace and tranquility
What I’m listening to
Disney songs. Yes, Disney songs. I’d like to say that Emmett is old enough to understand and appreciate them but I he’s not.
It’s me. All me.
Best article I read online
Hey, businesses have got to be built, right? I haven’t found a better site at explaining the ins and outs of building backlinks. If you’re looking for a one-stop shop, this is it.
Quote I’m digging
I’m paraphrasing here but in that Tim Ferris video above, he said something along the lines of “What can I learn from the people I hate the most?”
Puts a nice outlook on something truly negative. Use it to your advantage.
And there you have it. My Saturday Morning Recap all in one spot.
‘Till next week,
