One Person Can’t Change The World And Here’s Why

Change The World

Throughout life, you hear stories about people changing the world, and doing amazing things.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Rosa Parks

Nelson Mandela

Never doubting what they stood for or the effects that they had on the world, I wondered if it was actually possible for one person to change the world. Can a single person create profound change, not only within themselves and those closest to them but also on those all around over the planet? Can they ignite a fire that spreads across the globe all by themselves?

After years of wondering and learning, the answer is no. No, they can’t.

All one person can do is start a movement or create a belief system, and have others join them. In that instance, worldwide change has the opportunity to occur.

Look at any of the above people. Their actions united a group of people and it was the people that sparked change.

Strangely enough, this power or this sort of movement doesn’t always have the world’s best intentions at heart. Nearly 70 years ago one man created a belief system so powerful that he changed the way that people look at one another.

Because of his views, an army was sent out to eradicate millions of people based on unjust reasoning. A great war was fought and society learned from it. Or so you thought. The things that separated humanity all those years ago, still happen today.

Personal clarity leads to change

2 years ago, in a moment of great clarity, I made a decision. I too would attempt to do what others have done and set out to create a belief system that can change the world.

Before you get upset, know that I’m not comparing myself to Martin Luther King Jr, Rosa Parks, Nelson Mandela or anybody like them. I’m not even close. I am merely an average man, with above average goals. All that I am saying is I have come to the realization that anybody has the power to change the world with their ideology.

The methods are different and the technology is far more advanced, but the theories are the same. Change is possible. Treat each other well, sacrifice for them as you would sacrifice for you family, and work on yourself before you work on them.

And it continues

I remember when I started to write for this site. Maybe one day I will even show you what it looked like. I was brash, unpolished, and unwilling to understand why you may not see the world the way that I see it. I was too stubborn to see that you come from a different background than I and maybe, just maybe, you have a different viewpoint of the world.

Too much “Imagine”, “Give Peace a Chance”, “One Tin Soldier”, and songs like it I suppose.

All that aside, my quest hasn’t wavered; to empower others to reach their full potential for the betterment of society.

What’s next?

I do believe that you are capable of leading a change in a world that so badly needs it.

To become strong enough to do it, you have to work on yourself. It is mandatory. Through it, you will become prepared for the ups and downs that accompany change.

Years ago when I began to believe in the power of personal change, I was lost. I didn’t know what to do, who to talk to, what to learn, and most importantly if it was possible. It was like sitting in a University Physics class and not understanding a single thing the Professor was saying.

I didn’t know it then, but I needed guidance.

Now, with the realization that I am not the only one that needs guidance, I created a guide to help you get where you want to be. I call it “Mindset of a Champion” and it became available to download recently. So far, the reviews have been extremely positive.

It makes me feel pretty good. Must be the Seratonin running through my system.

Its contents are easy to digest and even easier to implement. The book will take you by the hand and show you:

  1. The books you need to read and why
  2. The merits of risk and how to overcome your fear of it
  3. Why exercising creates a healthy mind
  4. How to make a difference in the world
  5. And so much more.

I don’t sit here expecting you to download it. Who am I to try to tell you how to change your life?

What I do expect is that if you choose not to, you will make an effort to find another guide/way/person to show you just how impactful personal change can be. This is the only way that the world can get out of the state it’s in.

However, saying that, it would be my honor if you would pick up a copy. It is free to download at this address:

Be sure to pay special attention to the end of the book. In that area, you will come face to face with a series of questions. The questions are designed to challenge your thoughts and force you to become honest with yourself. Or at least that’s my hope. The questions can’t do that if you aren’t willing to be honest with yourself.

Once you’re done, email me your answers. I would love to talk with you about them.

Cheers to your success,

Joel

Totally agree. That person sparks the flame and creates a movement that changes the world. Together we change it, not separately.

Love the inspiration. So true – we are all capable of leading the change we wish to see. Just that we don’t realize it. This is an amazing reminder!

I always say we can all make a difference. Aka change. If you step out, make your voice heard then others will come to join you. There may be something you say to help one person. That one person then tells another and so forth.

Great article, I think when you look inside yourself and separate yourself from the world, thats the moment when powerful things happen.

All those great people you mention did exactly that, they didn’t follow the crowd
